What is the policy?

Customer and suppliers can't:

• Engage in any action with a user on the site designed to complete or facilitate a hire outside of Pursued By Bear
• In any communications with another Pursued By Bear member, refer to or promote external websites that facilitate hires outside of Pursued By Bear
• Use contact information obtained through an Pursued By Bear transaction to offer to hire items outside of Pursued By Bear
• List an item and then mention or link to additional identical or related items for hire outside of Pursued By Bear
• Offer catalogues or other items that are used to hire items directly outside of Pursued By Bear

Customers and suppliers should:

• Complete transactions on Pursued By Bear in order to be covered by Pursued By Bear protections. Confirmation of a completed transaction on Pursued By Bear can be obtained by:
  • Using the Pursued By Bear checkout to complete the purchase
  • Viewing the purchase in purchase history

Why does Pursued By Bear have this policy?

Offers to hire outside of Pursued By Bear are a potential fraud risk for both customers and suppliers. Transactions conducted outside of Pursued By Bear are not eligible for Pursued By Bear protection programmes and dispute resolution support. Additionally, Theatre Hire Solutions has invested a great deal to connect interested customers with great suppliers and we want to participate in ongoing transactions with them.
